i have know Dr Witten since he was in his intership and residency at St. John’s. He was a great friend to me. When my son AAron was born a month early February 12 1976, and passed away hours later he came to me as a friend and said please don’t let this stop you from another. Don’t let it break up your marriage. Couples either band tightly or blame each other and divorce. I remembered this all these years. My relationship failed but there is so much to hold on to if you just hold steadfast to God and your spouse. I watched the videos of the couples trying to win an IVF. I wish I had the money to fund every one of them. I was able to conceive again and I have a wonderful 34 year old son who has brightened my world since his conception. Thank you Barry, your words to me, a young broken hearted mom kept me going. Daniel was worth that trial.
