Jeffrey D. Fisch, M.D. is board certified in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the subspecialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Originally from Southern California, he received a B.A. in English Literature from Cornell University in 1986. Dr. Fisch earned his doctorate from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1992, followed by residency training at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital/ St Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ from 1992-96. He subsequently completed a 3-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Stanford University in 1999.

Dr. Fisch has been the Medical Director of SIRM - Las Vegas since 2004. From 1999-2003 he was the Associate Medical Director, working closely with Dr. Sher on a daily basis. He was the first physician to join Dr. Sher at SIRM and was handpicked for his outstanding clinical and surgical skills.

In addition to a busy practice treating general and advanced fertility problems, Dr. Fisch is the director of clinical research at SIRM, and is currently overseeing two randomized, controlled trials. He was co-author with Dr. Sher on the papers describing the use of Viagra to treat suboptimal endometrial development. Dr. Fisch was also among the first to recognize the association of endometriosis with abnormal Natural Killer cell activity. He was intimately involved with developing our novel embryo grading system (GES) which allows the high pregnancy rates from blastocyst transfers to be obtained from day-3 Embryo Transfer.

In his years at SIRM, Dr Fisch has continued to pursue academic interests. He has an impressive list of more than 50 publications and presentations in internationally recognized medical journals and at national meetings. He authored a chapter on strategies to prevent high-order multiple gestations following ART for a textbook on triplet pregnancy. Dr. Fisch has repeatedly been invited to give grand rounds to area physicians and has been interviewed on fertility-related issues by local newspapers and television stations. He maintains his teaching skills by serving as volunteer clinical faculty in the department of Ob/Gyn at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, providing reproductive endocrinology experience for visiting Ob/Gyn residents. He is also a regular medical consultant on the SIRM website.

Dr Fisch is licensed to practice medicine in Nevada, California and New Jersey. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. He is fluent in both Spanish and German. Dr. Fisch is married and has three children. His non-professional interests include art, travel, skiing and camping.
